Face & Laces - Moscow

Flew out to moscow last week to paint in an England Vs Russia Secret Wars battle on the Reebok stand at the Faces & Laces tradeshow.

The tradeshow was held in a huge old soviet building that was originally used to comemorate the Russian space programme.

The Russian Piece, painted by Aske (Sicksystems), and Djagarta.

The UK piece, painted by myself and Wen. Our concept was to have two hairy russian chaps, bear baiting 'Cheburashka'. For those who dont know, that little bear character is a well known national icon and loved by pretty much all russians. we left drawing him to the last minuite, and managed to get a few laughs out of the tough crowd.

Did plenty of sightseeing and vodka drinking while i was there too...

Bread and Butter, Barcelona - Reebok Shoe customisation

Spent the last week in barcelona at the Bread and Butter tradeshow drawing on trainers for Reebok. 'Work hard, play hard' was the usual B&B ethic, and we customised over 150 pairs of trainers in 3 days. Huge thanks to all the monorex crew for making it a week to remember!

Normann party @ Magasin, Copenhagen

Norman is a product design company based in Copenhagen. last friday saw the launch of their latest product, a very minimal toy plane. To celebrate this they threw a massive party in the car park of 'Magasin' (a danish equivalent of selfridges). I was commissioned to paint some canvasses and customise some Reeboks for their VIP guests.

My section from the Wall of canvasses, which will be auctioned off for charity.

Reebok Pump Dual Illustration

No4 in a series of 6 ltd edition product DVD's showcasing Reeboks latest collection. Other artists to collaborate include Jimi Crayon, Stika, Odisie, Mr K, Alfa. Embossed silver print on cardboard. This is one serious dvd case.

Reebok x Secret Wars @ Bread & Butter

Reebok asked Secret wars to once again collaborate with them at the July Bread and Butter tradeshow in Barcelona. The format was slightly different from Januarys event, with the main focus being an ice cream van which was customised by Jimi C, mr K, Alfa and myself over the 3 days. more photos on the Monorex blog...

My design for the Secretwars x Reebok T-shirt. they come in black or white and theres only 100, so if you've got one, pat yourself on the back.

We did a lot of customised trainers for Reeboks main buyers and guests. Thierry didnt show this time though.

"Untitled" exhibition, Barcelona

Thanks to Reebok for getting us involved in the Untitled exhibition.

Odisy, Jimi Crayon, Alfa and myself were asked to each customise a shoe, which was then put into some pretty nice looking display units.

Secretwars x Reebok x Daydream @ Bread & Butter, Barcelona

Secretwars and the Daydream network collaborated with Reebok at the 2008 Bread and butter tradeshow in Barcelona. We were asked to stage a complete secretwars championship over 2 days on their stand using international artists. The line up was Wany1, Jimi Crayon, Alfa, Wayne Horse, Odisy, Mister Shrew, Flan and Teck.

Before the event, I was also asked to design this 3 page fold out advert for the Reebok ERS shoe and graphics for the stand.
